A Gnome, also known as a Tomte or Nisse, is a creature from Scandinavian folklore that is traditionally a guardian spirit of a home or farmstead.
My Gnomes, just like all my other creatures, critters and pals, are all one of a kind. The fabrics are individually selected to evoke a mood, theme, or personality, and most have names by the time they are listed as available.
Gnomes are slightly weighted to sit on a shelf and keep watch over your home or office. Made from a variety of fabrics, filled with deer corn (for weight) and polyfil stuffing
Each gnome takes approximately 2-3 hours of love and labor to create, and each is lovingly hand stitched for its final assembly. (No glue here!)
If you are looking for a gnome but don’t see the right one, contact me, and I will happily create one just for you.
I want my gnomes to go to loving homes, and thus they are priced at what I consider the minimum reasonable price for the time and supplies which go into them. The pricing tiers more closely reflect what the price would be if truly accounting for all labor and materials.
